Winter Rally & Carnival : On 21st December’14 at Tollygunge. A Live Musical Road Show with the message “Say No To Drugs, Yes To Music”. More than 200 music lovers joined the rally with the AMEC Band performing live music.
Concert for Peace: 27th September 2014 at St. Paul’s Cathedral :
The world’s leading cellist Christian Pierre La Marca performed a Bach recital along with solo performances by American Pianist Ms. Jennifer Heemstra and Kaniska Saha of AMEC. The Peace Song written and composed by AMEC was performed by more than 50 students along with La Marca accompanying them on his cello.

Young Pianists in Concert : On 23rd January 2013, AMEC Presented “Young Pianists in Concert” at ICCR. 1st time ever in Calcutta, an unique concert was staged to showcase Eight Young Pianists under the age of 14 years. Mr. Mitsuo Kawaguchi, Consul General of Japan in Kolkata graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He was overwhelmed with the performances of the young pianists and expressed great hope for Western Classical Music under the flagship of AMEC. Mr. Kawaguchi also launched the annual magazine imPulse. Mr. & Mrs. Kawaguchi also presented Diplomas to all students who received Distinction for 2012 Music Examinations.
Global Peace Concert: On 23rd June, AMEC presented the global peace concert at ICCR. Life time achievement award was presented to Mr.Nandon Bagchi for life long contribution towards western music.
Together Forever, a musical Journey : AMEC presented “Together Forever, a musical Journey” on 1st May 2012 at Uttam Mancha. Concept & music arrangement by Mr. Surendranath Majumdar. Design & Title by eminent artiste Mr. Yadavendra Sen.
2nd Annual Concert was held in Gyan Manch with more than 100 students performing. 2011 1st annual concert organized in November 2011 with more than 70 students performing. AMEC is the 1st Western Music School in Kolkata to recognize the contribution of Music Educators. AMEC presented Lifetime Achievement Award to Mrs. Anita Hazra & Mrs. Fauzia Marikar for their life long contribution for Western Classical Music in Kolkata. Dasho Tshering Wangda, His Excellency Consul General of Bhutan graced the concert as Chief Guest. All participants receives autographed certificate from Dasho Thsering Wangda. Dasho also impressed everyone by singing “Chandwi Ka Chand Ho”. Eminent Guitarist Mr. Amyt Datta lighted the lamp and shared the importance of music education.
AMEC starts off in October 2010 with the vision of imparting “International Standard Music Education”, “Transforming Lives With Music” and “Music for All”.
